George W. Bush breaks down while eulogizing his father

By Mark M

President George W. Bush broke into tears as he eulogized his father, George H.W. Bush, during the funeral Wednesday at the Washington National Cathedral.

“Through our tears, let us know the blessings of knowing and loving you, a great and noble man, the best father a son or daughter could have,” he said as he teared up. “Dad is hugging Robin and holding mom’s hand again.”

He was referring to his father’s daughter Robin who died at the age of 3 in 1953 and his wife, former first lady Barbara Bush, who died in April.

The elder Bush died last Friday at the age of 94 at his Houston home.
